We built Honey Where's My?! to help you figure out what your stuff is worth. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. No legalese, just plain talk.

What We Collect
Photos
When you scan an item, your phone camera captures a photo. That photo is sent to the Google Gemini API so it can identify the item and estimate a value. We do not store your photos on our servers. They live on your device only.
Email Address
If you subscribe through Stripe, we collect your email address. We use it only for account management and payment receipts. That's it.
Usage Data
We use Meta Pixel to track anonymous usage patterns, like page views, scan events, and subscriptions. This helps us understand how people use the app and deliver relevant advertising through Meta.
Payment Data
Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number.
How We Use Your Data

Third-Party Services
We work with these outside services to make the app run:
- Google Gemini API for AI-powered item identification and value estimates
- Stripe for payment processing
- Meta / Facebook for analytics and advertising
- Cloudflare for hosting and security
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
How Long We Keep Data
- Photos: We do not retain them. They stay on your device only.
- Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted on request.
- Analytics: Anonymized data retained for up to 2 years.
Your Rights
- You can delete local data anytime by clearing your browser data.
- Email us at hello@honeywheresmyapp.com to request account deletion.
- California residents: You have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
- EU residents: You have rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Children
This app is not intended for anyone under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
